Foreign students study Tribal Communities
Students from Brazil, Norway, Lithuania, Spain, France, Ukraine etc. visited and observed Guru Nanak Girls P.G. College. They gathered information about the various tribes which are abundant in Southern Rajasthan. For these students, Guru Nanak Girls P.G. College organized a two-session lecture on the tribes in southern Rajasthan.

Principal Prof. N.S. Rathor told that the group came from (name of the university) University of Sciences under the guidance of Dr. Motilal, Assistant Prof. (Institute of Development Studies, Jaipur) and Research Assistant, Somoti Lal Kumhar. The students were welcomed with garlands and tilak.
In the college campus, during the first session, Prof. Narpat Singh Rathore outlined the culture, geographical location, education etc, and government schemes related to the tribal communities. He also told them about the environment protecting practices of the tribal communities of the Mewar region.
In the second session, Prof. Arun Prabha Chaudhry, Dept. Head (Economics, MLSU) told the students about the health services provided in India. He gave information about the tribal communities of Sothern Rajasthan as well.
