The Forest Department seized two bulldozers near the Shikarbadi area in Goverdhan Vilas due to illegal encroachment in the forest area. Bushes were being cleared in this part of the Banki Forest Block for unauthorized occupation. The drivers fled as soon as the Forest Department team arrived.

The team was alerted by reports of activities contrary to forestry practices like animal husbandry, farming, and plantation in the forest area. Trees and bushes were being removed using two bulldozers.

Ranger Vijendra Singh stated that the department had built a temporary wall at the site. An attempt was being made to encroach inside this wall. The action team included Forester Narayan Lal Kumawat, Forest Guard Jawahar Lal Meena, Shanti Lal Meena, Mahesh Chandra, Ravindra Singh Shaktawat, Pradeep Singh Chauhan, and others.

The Forest Department's quick action prevented further illegal activities and safeguarded the forest area from encroachment.
