Udaipur, March 21, 2025 - The Tribal Area Development (TAD) Department has announced free accommodation and meals for Scheduled Tribe (ST) women candidates preparing for the RAS (Main) Examination in Jaipur.

TAD Commissioner Shakti Singh Rathore said that this facility is meant for candidates who cannot afford to rent a room in Jaipur due to financial constraints. Selected students will be accommodated in the Multipurpose Tribal Girls Hostel, allowing them to focus on their studies without any financial burden.

Candidates Must Meet the Following Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a native of Rajasthan and belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.

• Must have passed the RAS Preliminary Examination 2024.

• Total annual family income should be less than Rs 3 lakh.

• If a parent is a Rajasthan government employee, their salary should not exceed Pay Matrix Level 11.

• The candidate must stay in Jaipur for RAS Mains coaching and preparation.
