Fully vaccinated people wishing to travel abroad will now be issued Covid vaccination certificates mentioning their full date of birth. This new feature is in compliance with WHO standards and is very likely to be available from next week.
As of now, based on the year of birth beneficiary’s age is mentioned on the certificate. The new feature of mentioning the complete date of birth is the result of the ongoing discussions between India and the UK over Covid vaccination certificates.
To comply with the standards of WHO, the DOB will be in dd/mm/yy format. Henceforth apart from the other relevant details, the certificates issued to fully vaccinated people will have the full date of birth when they are travelling abroad.
