Sewage water from Gangaur Ghat in the city is making its way into Pichola Lake, raising serious concerns among residents. On May 1, tourists noticed water seepage from a chamber along their route, highlighting the potential threat to the lake's cleanliness. 

Tej Shankar Paliwal, a former member of the Lake Development Authority, has alerted Smart City officials about this issue. Paliwal emphasized that Pichola Lake water is crucial for drinking purposes for locals. Despite repeated notifications, a lasting solution to the problem is yet to be found.
