Garments worth 4 lakh rupees stolen from a shop
Theft in a garment shop.
A shop dealing in outfits was robbed in Sakroda which falls under Pratapnagar police station. Garments worth 4 lakh rupees were stolen from Bherunath Collections. The burglars did not break the shutter; instead they used a jack to lift it.
The shop is near a government school. The owner had closed the shop around 9 p.m. on Monday. Next morning he received a call from one of the neighbours that the shop’s shutter was found open. When he reached there, he found that the locks were intact but the shop had been burgled by lifting the shutter. The bundles of clothes lying inside the shop were taken away and a lot of things were lying scattered. The bundles were estimated to be around 4 lakh rupees. Debari police investigated the site and is trying to find the burglars.
