Wild Animal Rescue Center rescued a Python measuring more than 16 feet from Dhar village near Ubeshwarji today morning. The serpent was spotted in the field early morning where the women were working.

Wild Animal Rescue Center rescued a Python measuring more than 16 feet from Dhar village near Ubeshwarji today morning. The serpent was spotted in the field early morning where the women were working.

Kamli bai, who was collecting leaves while having her child in her arms saw the python who tried to attack her. Terrified women shouted and gathered the villagers.

Villagers informed the Forest Department officials who informed Wild Animal Rescue Center form where Chaman Singh and Rajendra Shrimali with their team went to rescue the snake.

The team reached the scene and after a long tussle, Chaman Singh caught hold of the snake and pulled it out. His team member got some wounds rescuing the snake of such a big size.

After the rescue, the Wild Animal Rescue team member handed over the reptile to the forest department officials who released the snake into the Kaler Forest Range near Ubeshwarji.

Chaman Singh told that this is the period of hibernation for the cold blooded animals. Such animals search for a safe destination to hide themselves from the chilling breeze of the winter season. He said that these animals can’t bear extreme hot and cold temperatures.

He also appealed to the people to not kill these animals and call them on their number 9828058158 whenever they spot a wild animal. They are available 24 hours a day.
