Global Price Drop Triggers Fall in Gold and Silver in State
Udaipur, Nov 18, 2025 - Owing to a decline in prices in the international market, the Jaipur bullion market on Monday recorded a drop of Rs 900 per 10 grams in standard gold and Rs 800 per 10 grams in 22-carat jewellery gold. The Udaipur bullion market also witnessed a downturn in both precious metals.
Silver prices fell by Rs 800 per kilogram. Over the past two to three trading days, gold has fallen by Rs 4,000 per 10 grams, while silver has dropped by Rs 9,800 per kilogram.
On the other hand, on the US futures exchange COMEX, December delivery gold was trading $22.80 lower at $4,071.40, and December delivery silver was down $0.311, trading at $50.375 per ounce.
According to the Udaipur Sarafa Association, the local bullion rates were as follows:
- Silver (pure) per kilogram: Rs 1,58,900
- Silver Chaurasa: Rs 1,58,000
- Gold Standard (999): Rs 1,26,500
- Jewellery Gold (23 carat): Rs 1,21,440
- Gold (22 carat): Rs 1,16,380
