Be aware of your rights as a consumer.
Goods once sold will not be taken back is the common tag that consumers see on the bills that they receive for the products they buy. As per rules, if a consumer is dissatisfied with a product, he has every right to return that particular thing. No shopkeeper can refuse to take back the product. As per Consumer Protection Rights Act 1986, there is a provision of legal action under Section 14 against any shopkeeper who refuses to take back a product. It is just that consumers are not aware of their rights.
