Stray dogs create terror in Savina area

Ankit Jain, serving as the Deputy Chief Medical and Health Officer in Udaipur, mentioned that the government provides free medical treatment for people bitten by dogs, monkeys, mongooses, and camels. Thoroughly cleansing the wound can eliminate bacteria from the body and aid in preventing infection.

If the bacteria remain within the body, they can lead to infections like tetanus, rabies, or sepsis. In certain instances, infections have the potential to extend to different areas of the body. Individuals may require antibiotics or vaccinations to address such infections.

Patients can receive treatment at any nearby hospital without any expenses. The general population is unable to benefit from this government-provided facility due to a lack of awareness. Veterinarians state that rabies can be transmitted through dog bites, impacting different areas of the body.
