The new strain that has developed is far more deadly and to ensure safety at all places, the central government has issued a fresh set of guidelines for the prominent public places. These guidelines are especially meant for the shopping malls, restaurants and religious places which usually witness more gathering than any other place.

In order to ensure safety, the central government made masks and social distancing mandatory for the people visiting shopping malls, religious places and restaurants. The central government while issuing guidelines said that adequate manpower must be deployed at these places to ensure that social distancing and masks are being strictly followed. The government also added that the employees working at these places are at higher risk; hence they must take extra precautions.

The guidelines for the restaurants state that instead of dine-in, take-away must be encouraged and delivery of food must follow the covid precautions. Thermal screening of the home delivery staff has also been made mandatory prior to their leaving for deliveries.

The religious places must have mandatory hand hygiene and thermal scanning procedure.  The government also said that only asymptomatic people will be allowed to enter the religious places.

The central government also said that the employees should not be directly exposed to front-line work that required direct contact with public. Entry and exit for the visitors, workers and supplies has to be separate. The restaurants must ensure proper crowd management in parking lots, a physical distance of 6 feet has to be followed while queuing up for entry in the restaurant.

No one without mask is to be allowed and posters on preventive measures have to be displayed at prominent places.
