Gujarat Police Vehicle, Gun Found Abandoned
another sheer negligence of Gujarat Police came under light today when an abandoned police vehicle was found near Reliance Fresh’s outlet at Hiran Magri, Sector 3, Udaipur.
After the much talked incident that embarrassed Gujarat Police when Sylvester Daniel, a notorious gangster who escaped from custody of the policemen after allegedly partying with them; another sheer negligence of Gujarat Police came under light today when an abandoned police vehicle was found near Reliance Fresh’s outlet at Hiran Magri, Sector 3, Udaipur.
Prior to that, Udaipur Police got information of an unloaded rifle lying near Savina Railway Crossing at 7 in the morning today.
Both incidents confused the Police officials for a while but soon it became clear that both rifle and vehicle belong to Gujarat Police; however it is still not confirmed how and under what circumstances it reached Udaipur.
According to Dinesh Singh Rohdia, SHO, Hiran Magri Police Station, “We have found 3 police uniforms, 2-3 bottles of liquor and a few live bullets from Gujarat police jeep and one rifle which we found near railway crossing also belongs to Gujarat Police.”
When further asked about the incident, the officer said, “We have already contacted Gujarat Police and informed them about the incident, they have confirmed that there were policemen with one accused who were returning back from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh and on the way they had scuffled, the driver who belongs to Gujarat Police had left his team at Kherwara and run off with vehicle.”
No more details about any policemen have been known yet. Udaipur police has kept all the found objects under their custody and the investigation is going on in this matter.
