Udaipur, Mar 04, 2026: The US Consulate in Dubai was reportedly targetted in a suspected drone attack in the late hours of Tuesday night. As per media reports, a suspected drone landed on parking lot adjacent to the US Consulate on Al Seef road in Dubai, sparking a fire, which has since been extinguished.
Emergency vehicles rushed to the area that was later cordoned off by the law enforcement and military personnel. Videos of the strike surfaced on social media. This is the latest in the attacks on US Consulate in the Middle East countries, after a strike on the consulates in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The US has confirmed that all personnel were evacuated and are accounted for.
The UAE reaffirmed commitment to ensuring safety and security for its residents. The government further added that UAE was not a part of the conflict and neither had it granted permission for the UAE territory to be used for attacks on Iran. The UAE foreign ministry said that it has 'faced more than 1000 attacks, more than all the gulf states combined and countered them with profressionalism and efficiency'.
