Saudi Arabia has started issuing Umrah visas from June 10; Umrah pilgrims will start arriving in the country from June 11
June 10, 2025 - The new Umrah cycle is set to begin from June 11 extending into 2026 (1447H), according to an announcement of the official Umrah calendar by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Saudi Arabia. As per reports, the first batch of Umrah pilgims will start arriving in Mecca from June 11 with Umrah visas issuance starting from June 10.
The final date for Umrah visas is March 20, 2026, while the last date for pilgrims to enter the country for Umrah is April 3, 2026. Pilgrims must depart by April 18, 2026.
As per this schedule, travel agents and Umrah companies had been informed by the Ministry to finalise their service terms and agreements latest by May 27. The launch of the external agent qualification service via the Nusuk platform and the Umrah Path system began on March 25.
The resumption of the Umrah visas come on the heels of Hajj 2025 which is being touted as the safest and the most efficiently managed Hajj pilgrimage in recent years. More than 1.6 million pilgrims from across the world took part in this year’s pilgrimage. The Saudi authorities had taken unprecedented measures to ensure safe and smooth pilgrimage across both the holy sites of Mecca and Medina.
