Valid machine-readable passports mandatory; Rs 1.5 lakh first installment
July 4, 2025 - The Haj Committee of India has initiated preparations for Hajj 2026 (1447H) in accordance with the Preliminary Arrangements Document issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia.
According to a circular issued by the Haj Committee of India dated June 26, 2025, the application form for Hajj 2026 will be made available most likely by the second week of July 2025. This will be following the announcement of the Haj Policy 2026 by the Indian Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Intending pilgrims can check the committee’s official website https://www.hajcommittee.gov.in and Haj Suvidha app for the form.
Hajj quota will be notified separately in due course of time.
The committee has advised all intending pilgrims who wish to perform Hajj 2026 to keep funds ready for the first instalment of Rs 1.5 lakh and ensure the availability of valid passports.
