Hardik Patel prevented from entering Bohra Ganeshji temple

Patidar leader Hardik Patel was prevented by the Pratap Nagar Police from entering Bohra Ganeshji temple. He was stopped by 10-12 cops who checked with him whether he had court permission for entering the premise.

It may be noted that Hardik Patel is currently out on conditional bail and has to spend six months out of Gujarat. Hardik has taken Udaipur as his city of choice for spending the six month time frame.

In Udaipur, when Hardik made a visit to Bohra Ganeshji temple, cops stopped him and asked for court permission. Hardik said that as per the Gujarat High Court’s order he was barred from only entering Gujarat there were no other stipulated conditions. The cops were however not satisfied with the reply and did not allow Hardik and others to go inside the temple. Hardik was then asked to solicit permission from local police station before making an entry.

Post the incident, Hardik mentioned that “BJP government is scared of Patidars. That is why they are employing all ploys to scare us. But we won’t be cowed down. We will talk to SP of Udaipur on this issue”.

It may be noted that police has been playing fairly cautious in this case. They recently installed 5 CCTV cameras outside the house where Hardik is staying and also set up a temporary Police post outside the residence.
