Hardik Patel set to leave Udaipur tomorrow

Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel is set to leave Udaipur for Gujarat tomorrow (17-Jan-17). Following court’s order Hardik was forced to cool his heels outside Gujarat for six months. The six month tenure ends tomorrow and Hardik is set to get a huge farewell from Rajasthan and an even bigger reception in Gujarat.

Hardik will leave for Gujarat tomorrow by road and his supporters have geared up for reception all along the 250km route. As per reports available, a cavalcade of 300 odd vehicles is set to see off Hardik from Udaipur up to the Gujarat border. A huge set of Patidars comprising nearly 5000 vehicles from all across Gujarat plan to receive Hardik at the Ratanpur border.

Th PAAS members have planned a massive roadshow from Ratanpur till Himmatnagar. Hardik has planned a “Hunkar Rally” at Himmatnagar wherein over a lakh Patidars are expected to be present.

Hardik Patel set to leave Udaipur tomorrow

In Udaipur, locals had plannned a farewell party for Hardik at Uday Vatika today evening. However, as per latest reports, Udaipur Municipal Corporation issued a notice to the party plot citing a lack of permission for it to hold the party. Hardik has alleged that Rajasthan Government has misused its powers in trying to break the Patidar agitation.

As per PAAS, Hardik has planned to make Ahmedabad as his base for carrying out the Patidar reservation movement. Hardik has stated firmly that they will now start the Phase 3 of their agitation with double force and will not let go till reservation is provided constitutionally. Hardik has meanwhile maintained that their fight for reservation will take the non-violent route.Hardik Patel set to leave Udaipur tomorrow
