Head of Departments return from Colombo World Pharmacy Congress

Dr. S. S. Sisodia, Professor, Head of Pharmacology department and Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Head of Pharmaceutics Department, Associate Professor from BN College of Pharmacyreturned from the World Congress on Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chemical Technology held at Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Dr. S. S. Sisodia, Professor, Head of Pharmacology department and Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Head of Pharmaceutics Department, Associate Professor from BN College of Pharmacyreturned from the World Congress on Pharmaceutical Sciences and Chemical Technology held at Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The nine day event was held from 16th December to 24th December 2013.

Dr. Sisodia delivered his lecture on Hepatoprotective activity of Mimosa Pudica Linn in Carbon Tetrachloride induced Hepatotoxicity in rats; and Dr. Rathore delivered his research paper on Formulation development and optimization of immediate release tablet containing Antifibrinolytic agent.

Principal of BN Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Dr. Chetan Singh Chauhan, informed that the conference was organized by International Society for Nature & Health Care Inc, USA in collaboration with Industrial Technology Institute, Colombo, University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India, National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka and Olive Lifesciences Pvt. at Hotel Galadari, and Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo.

MD of the BN Institute Dr. N. N. Singh Rathore also extended his best wishes and felicitated the participants for their contribution. Dr. M. S. Ranawat, Principal, BN College of Pharmacy said, “This is a very proud moment for all of us”.

He also informed that the participants visited Faculty of Pharmacy, Colombo University and also visited Royal Botanical garden, Kandy and Victoria Flower Garden, Nuwara Eliya.
