Health Minister says there is no proof that newspapers spread Covid-19
Porous textures have the lowest transmission possibilites, as per the studies done on Covid-19.

Union Health Minister Harshwardhan has said that there is no scientific proof that covid-19 spreads through newspapers, hence declaring the newspapers as safe to read.

He also insisted that Covid-19 is a respiratory virus and spreads through droplets suspended in air. No scientific evidence proves that newspapers carry the novel corona virus.

Scientific research proves that the virus does not survive on porous surfaces. As per a study published earlier in 2020, New England Journal of Medicine which is the most cited research journal...it was said that the study on varying stability of corona virus on different surfaces shows that the lowest transmission possibility was copper beacuse the metal has atomic make-up and carboard because of its high porous structure.

It may also be noted that PM Modi had also earlier said that it was absolutely safe to read newspapers.
