Women entrepreneurs have taken the lead in selling herbal colours, now readily available at major tourist destinations across the city. Stalls showcasing these eco-friendly products have been set up at various strategic locations as part of a collaborative effort involving the tourism department.
Shikha Saxena, the Deputy Director of the Tourism Department, said that the herbal colours, made from Palash and Mogra flowers. These herbal colours, priced at an affordable Rs 250 per kilogram, not only cater to the growing demand for eco-friendly alternatives but also empower local women by providing them with a sustainable source of income.
