Rajasthan Government is set to issue tenders for leasing out two heritage hotels in the State – Anand Bhawan in Udaipur and Khasa Kothi in Jaipur. The tenders are expected to be issued by March this year.

Chief Secretary, Nihal Chand Goel said that Request for Proposal (RFP) for the two properties is being finalised and they expect to issue the tenders by March.

Goel added that the properties will not be sold but will be given out on lease on a Public-Private partnership model. The lease period will be 30 years.

As per Government officials, the lease will add revenue to the State and City exchequer. A senior official mentioned that RTDC had an annual liability of Rs 3 Crore and had 65 employees working at Anand Bhawan and Khasa Kothi.
