A bank guard displayed an act of honesty on Tuesday. It was due to his quick action that money forgotten in the bank was returned to its respective owner. As per sources, a customer with State Bank of India went to the bank to deposit some challans. He forgot his bag containing 2 and half lakh rupees in the bank itself. Head Guard of the Bank’s Treasury, Ismail Sheikh, spotted the bag lying in the bank. He came into action immediately since the owner of the bag could not be seen anywhere. Ismail Sheikh picked up the bag handed it over to the bank’s Manager.

CCTV footage was searched through to find the owner of the bag. After confirming with the owner, the bag was safely handed over to him.
