Udaipur’s JK Fortis Hospital has been accused of negligence and a case of fraud has been registered against the hospital.

As per news Abhay Sharma, Deputy SCST Cell Chittor, was admitted in JK Fortis hospital a month and a half back following some health issues. Reportedly, negligence in treatment resulted in the death of Abhay Sharma. His wife Payal informed that she had paid 12 lakh rupees for the treatment of her husband but the hospital did not provide proper feedback on the health of the patient. Since the financial condition was not too good, she had decided to shift her husband to the government hospital. When the family was about to shift Abhay Sharma, they were informed about his death. A case has been registered against the hospital for negligence and fraud under Section 420 and 304A.

On the other hand, Dr. Tarun Vyas of Fortis Hospital said that Abhay Sharma has lever problem since long and was admitted in Fortis for a month and half. The family was informed about the issue as per hospital policy and there has been no negligence in his treatment.
