Just a day back, a hot air balloon had landed in Shobhagpura and again yesterday there was another one in Vidhya Bhawan premises. The hot air balloon landed on Monday without prior permission in the premises of Vidhya Bhawan Rural Institute.

These balloons are part of the Hot Air Safari being provided to the tourists. People became furious with this unexpected landing on private property. However, administration instead of taking action is waiting for a report to be filed.

Vidhya Bhawan Principal Anil Mehta informed that the balloon was seen landing in the institute’s premises all of a sudden around 8a.m. People rushed out of their houses out of fear. It was stated by the residents of the area that no permission was taken for this landing and it was not even a safe step to bring down the balloon in a populated area. The residents have decided to report the case to the Collector and will have the company closed down.

ADM City O.P.Bunkar said that the Hot Air balloon company has permission for air rides and if it is being brought down on private property without permission, then a complaint must be filed by the residents after which action will be taken.

Operation Head of Sky Waltz Company Paul appealed to the people that they need not be scared of the balloon as it is a part of tourism and is meant for thrill. Hot air balloon safari is technically safe.  Everyday based on the weather, it is decided whether a ride should happen or not.
