Hotel operators near the sensitive zone of Sajjangarh have penned a letter to District Collector Arvind Kumar Poswal expressing concerns about the recently imposed restrictions on hotels. These restrictions include bans on the use of drums, DJ sets, laser lights, and fireworks within the eco-sensitive zone. Hotel operators are requesting permission to organize different events within their premises. They emphasize that preparations for the Shilpgram festival are underway, and despite being located within the eco-sensitive zone, Shilpgram hosts a variety of activities, including dancing, singing, and various performances.

As of the NGT orders on July 31, 2023, Sajjangarh and its surrounding area were designated as an eco-sensitive zone. Rakesh Chaudhary, the Secretary of the Hotel Association of Southern Rajasthan, shared that preparations for the Shilpgram Festival, scheduled for December, are underway. Despite being within the eco-sensitive zone, the administration has approved permission for the festival. In the same vein, hotels in this area should also be granted permission for their events.

In December, particularly around New Year's, numerous hotels and resorts in the city host events, and many of them are located near Sajjangarh. Obtaining permission from the administration would be advantageous for hotel operators in the upcoming period.
