A blood donation camp was organized today at GITS (Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies) under the joint banner of Geetanjali Hospital and HDFC Bank. The camp was led by Chintal Kumar Patel, Branch In Charge, NSS & NCC.

The total of 87 units of blood was donated in the camp, where NSS & NCC volunteers, students and faculty members of the college participated in the drive. The blood collected will be largely used for the patients with Thalassemia.

Also, on the second day of Health Fair 2014 being organized at Sukhadia Circle by Geetanjali School & College of Nursing, a blood donation camp was setup. The camp here was held under the joint efforts of Geetanjali Hospital Blood Bank and RNT Blood Bank.

100 unit of blood was collected in the camp held at Health Fair.
