In order to make the public aware of their voting rights, an 8 kilometre long human chain will be made at Fatehsagar pal at 2 p.m. today on Thursday. Chief Election Officer Anand Kumar will also be a part of this human chain.

As informed by the in-charge of the SVEEP cell, the human chain will have members from different organisations, societies, government and non-government organisations, farmer associations, women organisations, auto unions, coaching organisations, business organisations, guide associations, officials from government and private schools, staff and common public will also be a part of this 8 km long human chain. The objective behind this human chain is to create awareness among people about the importance of voting.

The chain will cover these areas- Devali end of Fatehsagar to Rani Raod and Mahakaleshwar temple, Ayurved Choraha, Fatehsagar link canal, Moti Magri, Circuit House, Chowpati to Fatehsagar pal.
