A woman has registered a complaint in Mahila Thana against her husband who threatened to throw acid on her. The incident took place on Wednesday. Rekha Meghwal of Gogunda informed police that her husband fights with her and hits her every day. She got married to him 5 years back and has a 3 year old daughter. Presently she is living separately from her husband and working as a domestic maid in Panchratan Complex.

When her husband came to know that she was working as a maid in Panchratan Complex, he reached that area with a few of his friends in an auto. The moment she came out of the flat where she was working, her husband started fighting with her. He even tried to snatch the bottle of acid that she had with her and tried to burn her. In the meantime, her brother also reached there. The bottle of acid fell in the process of snatching and broke. The woman started shouting after this and crowd gathered in the area. Seeing a huge number of people coming forward, the husband ran away with his friends. Later when the woman was going towards syphen choraha with her brother, her husband came again and snatched the gold chain from her neck. A case has been registered with Fatehpura police.
