HZL and ILFS Come Forward To Eradicate Unemployment
Unemployment and poverty are two major problems faced by the developing India. Government is putting its efforts to overcome these issues but many factors like lack of awareness, corruption etc. limit the growth to a considerable extent. Keeping the two problems in mind corporate house of Udaipur, Hindustan Zinc Limited has come up with Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Ltd. (IL&FS) to bring in some difference to the situation with support of the District Council.

Keeping the two problems in mind corporate house of Udaipur, Hindustan Zinc Limited has come up with Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Ltd. (IL&FS) to bring in some difference to the situation with support of the District Council.
At the conference hall in Collectorate a MOU was signed between HZL, IL&FS and the District Council. All of these have different shares of investment in the project. In this 75% of investment is by Indian Government, 13% by Hidustan Zinc and the rest 12% by IL&FS. This MOU aims at providing Technical and Professional training to unemployed youth. This will cover districts of Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittor and Bhilwara. Under it vocational and technical training will be given to poor and unemployed youth between the age group of 13 to 35.They will be provided with training to work as security guards, electrician, computer technicians etc. This is targeted to benefit around 7000 to 10000 youths. These companies will not only provide training but also recruit them in their own company if there is a vacancy. They will also be arranging for their placements at different places too. This project under CSR hopes to help and support the poor and unemployed. This is an appreciable step taken by the corporate sector. We hope that this brings in a real change which is the need of hour and helps our nation and citizens grow.
