May 12, 2025: Refuting social media speculation that alleged India striking Pakistan's Kirana Hills, the DGMO Air Marshall AK Bharti said that IAF has not hit Kiran Hills, "whatever there is". This sarcastic remark was followed by another one, where he said that the Indians were not aware of a nuclear installation at Kirana Hills, and this is new information for them.

These remarks came during the media briefing by the joints DGMOs to the press, when social media posts were transcribed in the form of questions from media.

The DGMOs, specifically said that it was the agenda of the forces to target ONLY authenticated terrorist camps and their support networks.
