The local community of Indian Federation of Working Journalist in Udaipur strongly condemned the attack on journalist Rakesh Sharma Rajdeep at Govt. Fateh Sr. Sec. School.

The meeting held locally by the members stated to the state government that it is the duty of journalists to put forth the happenings across people and in between become victims of powerful hands and are attacked.

The need to make a law to safeguard the journalists was presented to the state government during the meeting. Vice President of IFWJ Dr. Munesh Arora, District President Udaipur Abbas Rizwi with Ramesh Bhatnagar, Ranjeev Arora, Bharat Sharma, Anil Rogers, Ramsingh Rajput, Ghanshyam Bhinder and many other journalists were present.
