To promote the love of reading and writing, Potpourri, the Literary Club of IIM-Udaipur, has announced to conduct a literary fest, Udaipur Leap-Day Lit Fest (ULLF), on February 28, 2013 at IIMU premises.

To promote the love of reading and writing, Potpourri, the Literary Club of IIM-Udaipur, has announced to conduct a literary fest, Udaipur Leap-Day Lit Fest (ULLF), on February 28, 2013 at IIMU premises.

According to IIM-U’s official website, This will be an open event in which, not only the students and faculty members from IIM Udaipur, but many students from Rajasthan and nearby states, will participate. Presence of eminent authors such as Rajiv G Menon, Aswhin Sanghi and Ravi Subramanian will also be marked in this fest.

It is intended by the club to make this an annual event held on every February 28, with a special two-day festival during Leap Years.

The major theme for the inaugural edition of ULLF is ‘Indian Myth and Fantasy through New Age Novels’, which will also form the subject of the main panel discussion for the afternoon. ULLF will also have the authors interacting individually with the audience on such varied topics as why they took up writing after taking management courses or how the life of an up-and-coming Indian author is like.
