Udaipur, January 13, 2025 - UDA officials have successfully demolished illegal constructions on government land at Lakhawali, Udaipur, which had been occupied by an encroacher. The constructions included rooms, a swimming pool, and a restaurant that was being used for commercial activities.
The encroacher illegally occupied government land registered under UDA’s name, located in revenue plot number 3490 at Lakhawali. Despite prior warnings, the encroacher continued building on the land.
Action Taken After Complaints
Local residents had raised concerns about disturbances caused by alcohol parties at the restaurant. After receiving complaints, UDA officials halted the ongoing construction and imposed a ban on any new building activity. However, the construction resumed secretly.
Demolition of Illegal Structures

The UDA’s Encroachment and Revenue Branch has issued a public warning, urging citizens not to encroach on government land. They have assured that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found guilty. People are encouraged to report any encroachment on or near government land immediately to UDA.
