In a relentless effort to curb encroachment, the Municipal Corporation has continued its anti-encroachment drive, successfully removing several unauthorized structures within the city on Monday, March 11, 2024. The operation targeted illegal carts and cabins, resulting in their seizure.

On Monday, this initiative saw the confiscation of 15 illegal carts, 2 cabins, and various hoardings spanning from Savina Fruit and Vegetable Market to Savina Circle. Furthermore, in an attempt to enhance road space, ramps constructed outside shops along the road were demolished during the operation.
