Illegal liquor worth 17 lakhs seized-One arrested
Illegal liquor seized.
Pahada police seized illegal liquor worth 17 lakh rupees on Monday. As per reports, the liquor was being hauled to Gujarat. This liquor made in Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh is actually prohibited in Rajasthan.
Police raided Dabayacha village at Rajasthan-Gujarat border. All liquor cartons were being loaded from a tanker to smaller vehicles and when the loaders came to know of the raid, they managed to escape from the site. Their accomplice Dinesh Meena has been arrested in this matter. As informed by the police, a tanker with Haryana registration, 2 Bolero vehicles from Gujarat and a local pick-up vehicle were found at the site.
238 cartons of Rock Stock, 5 Party Special, 11 cartons of Blue Mood, 85 cartons of Blue Sky and 19 cartons of Royal Stag were seized by the police. As per police, the driver is made to deliver the illegal liquor at a specific address. This place is usually at the border. From there the liquor is loaded into different vehicles which then cross the border. After crossing the border, it is then loaded into another vehicle. The supplier does not get to know the real address where the liquor is actually transported. This networking is making it difficult for the police to nab the actual man behind this hauling process.
