3 people have been arrested by Ambamata police for illegal transportation of fish. Reportedly, police seized a pick-up vehicle containing 714 kilos of fish. As per police reports, Ibrahim Khan, Mohsin Khan and Kishan Khatik have been arrested in this matter.

It may be noted that fishing is prohibited from May to August. This period is the breeding season of fish. While keeping a check on illegal fishing, police even arrested a number of people performing bike stunts on Rani Road. There were 11 such people performing stunts who did not have a valid license.
