A three day Photo Exhibition ‘Imagine’, organised under the banner of Imagine Photo Journalist Club commenced at Barmer House earlier this morning.  Showcasing nearly 18 photographs captured with utmost perfection under extreme conditions by 9 members of the club the Exhibition was opened to public at 11 am.  These photographers work with leading national press.

According to PurshottamDiwakar, President, Imagine Club, the exhibition series started with an event in Jaipur on 21^st August 2012 and was followed by similar events in BikanerandJaisalmer.  Continuing the series, Udaipur is the destination now and will be followed by Kota and Jodhpur after 3 days to culminate again in Jaipur in August 2013.

Purshottam also added that the motive behind this exhibition being organised in various cities is to create awareness among local youth towards the profession of photo journalism.  In the broader context, the motto is to revive a sense of humanity against the lower and needy strata of the society as well as towards uplifting the recognition to women, especially in a state like Rajasthan.
