Income Tax (IT) team today raided 16 premises of well known builder Mangalam in Udaipur and Jaipur. The IT raid began in the morning and continued till the time of writing this news in the afternoon.

As per media sources, IT team also raided the residence of Mangalam director and former IAS officer Munna Lal Goyal in Jaipur.

Information was first gathered about activities of Munna Lal Goyal following which a raid was initiated today at his residence at Bapu Nagar, Jaipur. The team then extended the survey in 6 premises in Udaipur.

Though the IT team is so-far tight-lipped about the entire proceedings, but as per preliminary information, the survey could highlight crores of undeclared income.

It is also been reported that IT team has got hands on papers of various unregistered properties from the premises.
