India Post to Run 'Har Nagrik Bima Kavach' Campaign

Udaipur, Feb 7 - The Department of Posts will organise a special insurance campaign titled Har Nagrik Bima Kavach during the month of February. The objective of this campaign is to provide insurance protection to every citizen under the Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) schemes. The main focus of the campaign is to provide financial security to citizens living in rural, remote and economically weaker sections, so that their families receive financial protection in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

To ensure effective and successful implementation of the campaign, the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Udaipur Division, organised an important workshop on Thursday (February 6) for all direct agents, field officers and concerned DO PLI officials. During the workshop, detailed discussions were held on campaign strategy, publicity plans and the target of extending insurance coverage to the last mile.

Addressing the workshop, the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Udaipur Division, instructed field officers and agents to reach out to every village, town and remote area of Udaipur Division. The aim is to ensure that no eligible citizen is deprived of insurance protection and that more people are connected with India Post insurance schemes.

On this occasion, the Senior Superintendent also made a special mention of the outstanding work of field officer Deepak Kumar Gupta from the Udaipur Division. He informed that during the financial year 2024-25, Gupta achieved a total insured amount of Rs 27.81 crore, reflecting the trust and confidence of the public in India Post insurance schemes.
