Udaipur, March 26, 2025 - Indian food lovers have a reason to celebrate as Butter Garlic Naan has been declared the best bread in the world. The popular food and travel guide, TasteAtlas, released its latest list of the 'Top 100 Breads in the World,' where this Indian delicacy secured the top position with a rating of 4.7.

According to TasteAtlas, Butter Garlic Naan is a traditional flatbread made with flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and dahi. It is baked in a tandoor oven, brushed with butter or ghee, and topped with minced garlic. The guide recommends pairing it with Indian dishes like butter chicken, dal makhani, malai kofta, and shahi paneer.

Several other Indian breads also made it to the prestigious list. Amritsari Kulcha secured the second spot, while South Indian Parotta ranked sixth. Naan was placed eighth, Paratha 18th, Bhatura 26th, Aloo Naan 28th, and Roti stood at the 35th position.

This recognition highlights the global popularity of Indian cuisine, showcasing the richness and diversity of traditional Indian breads.
