Indian Railways Update for UDAIPUR | Udaipur - Shalimar Express to suspend operations from 21 February

Railway Line laying work between Jamga - Himgir stations along the Bilaspur subdivision of South East Central Railway division has resulted in the cancellation of the UDAIPUR - SHALIMAR Express.

Non Interlinking work and laying of the third line along this route will cause rail services across this route to be affected.  The Udaipur - Shalimar Express goes to Shalimar near Kolkatta and has been terminated temporarily.

Abhay Sharma, chief spokesperson of North Western Railway informed UdaipurTimes that the Udaipur-Shalimar express will not operate from 21 February onward for the period till the work along the route goes on.  Similarly the Shalimar - Udaipur Express will also cease operations temporarily from 23 February.
