Udaipur, March 29, 2025 - Udaipur, famous for hosting major national and international events, may soon add another prestigious event to its list. The Embassy of Spain in India is planning to organize the Indo-Spanish Cultural Fusion event in 2026 in the city.

To discuss the proposal, Spain’s Ambassador to India, Juan Antonio March Pujol, met Udaipur District Collector Namit Mehta on Friday at the Collectorate. The ambassador shared details about the event and explained how it would strengthen cultural ties between India and Spain.

Ambassador’s Visit to Tourist Spots

During his three-day visit to Udaipur, Pujol explored the city’s famous tourist attractions. He visited Gangaur Ghat and Fatehsagar Lake and was highly impressed by the city’s beauty. Deputy Director of Tourism Department, Shikha Saxena accompanied the ambassador during his visit. He praised Udaipur’s charm and its potential to host such grand international events.
