Accepted committing various incidences of burglary in the Udaipur

 
Gang of Thieves busted Udaipur

Udaipur-Three members of an Inter-state gang of thieves named as 'Mama Bhil Gang' has been arrested by the Hiran Magri police of Udaipur on Saturday. The trio has been booked under various sections of India Penal Code including sections 457 and 380. 

The case was registered on the  complaint of one Mukesh Choudhary of New Vidhya Nagar of Sector.4 of Hiran Magri area in connection with the theft of Gold Ornaments weighing 37 Tola (432 grams) and cash amounting Rs.40 lakhs. An investigation of the matter was going on and various teams of the Hiran Magri police station has scanned the CCTV cameras installed at various hotels, building and parking areas.

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Hiran Magri police station Ram Sumer Meena informed that police received a tip about one of the gang member of the 'Mama Bhil Gang' Shahdar Bhil resident of Tanda area of Madhya Pradesh, He was arrested by the police first and later during his interrogation he admitted the theft and also reveled the identity of two of his associates Kaniya Bhil and Mohabbat Singh that were involved in the crime. Soon after receiving the information the police carried out a search and nabbed the two of them.

The arrested accused were produced in front of the court and were taken under police custody remand for 8 days. During the initial interrogation the accused has accepted committing 2 other incidents of burglary in Udaipur.

Modus Operandi :

The Gang enters Rajasthan from Nimbahera and by traveling across Bhilwara, Jaipur, Kishangarh, Ajmer , Bheem and Nathdwara they reached at the Hiran Magri area of Udaipur where they parked their SUV at the parking of the Geetanjali Hospital and done a recce of the residential colonies there. during the recce they spotted out the isolated houses and than break into the houses later at the night. They also cover their faces with masks and always carry extra clothes with them to mislead the police.

All three accused are habitual offenders and having a criminal backgrounds.

They are still under police interrogation and the team interrogating them are also trying to recover the items and cash stolen by them so far in all the previous incidences of burglary.
