Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Jio) continues to assert its dominance in Rajasthan's telecom market, driven by its robust 5G network. According to the latest TRAI report, Jio’s wireless subscriber base has reached an impressive 2.72 crores as of June 30, 2024. In June alone, Jio added 2.19 lakh new mobile subscribers, further solidifying its lead over competitors. In comparison, Bharti Airtel and BSNL witnessed modest increases of 1.16 lakh and 1,707 subscribers, respectively, while Vodafone suffered a loss of 66,193 existing customers.
Jio's dominance is further highlighted by its extensive 5G rollout, with services now available in 274 towns and cities across Rajasthan. This expansion has given Jio the widest and largest 5G coverage in the state. Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and BSNL recorded wireless subscriber bases of 2.35 crores, 1.04 crores, and 55.23 lakhs, respectively, during the same period. The total number of telecom subscribers in Rajasthan stood at 6.68 crores as of June 30, 2024.
