Udaipur's Jishan Excels at AIMO 2025, Wins Dual Honours

Udaipur, Aug 9, 2025 - Jishan Yadav, a talented student of Crossroads Intenational School, Udaipur, has set another milestone by not only winning the silver medal at the Asia International Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO) 2025 held in Tokyo, Japan, but also being honoured with the prestigious Star of International Award by India.

AIMO is a renowned international mathematics competition that features talented students selected from various Asian countries. More than 3,500 students from different Asian countries participated in the event. Representing India’s national team, Jishan delivered an outstanding performance amidst tough competition to achieve this dual feat.

Jishan's deep interest in Mathematics, hard work and consistent practice have been the key factors behind this achievement.

The youngster dedicated this honour "to everyone who guided me on this journey," adding “This success would not have been possible without the support of my teachers, parents and the entire community."

Jishan's father is an officer at the Income Tax Department, Udaipur office, and his mother is a homemaker.

The Udaipur district administration, Education Department and various social organisations congratulated Jishan on this achievement.
