J.K. Cement Ltd., one of the top ten producers of cement in the country with over three decades of experience in cement manufacturing, has joined hands with Medanta–The Medicity, one of India’s largest projects in multi–super specialty institutions to launch its Three Day Free Health Check-up Camp at J.K. Cement Works, Nimbahera.

The camp was inaugurated this morning by Raghavpat Singhania, Special Executive for J.K. Cement Ltd. Madhavkrishna Singhania, another Special Executive for the company was also present, along with several public representatives and government officials.

Others, who had graced the occasion, included Mrs. Sonam Singhania, wife of Shri Raghavpat Singhania, Mr. M.L. Goyal, Senior Vice President (Comml.) at J.K. Cement Works, Nimbahera, Mr. K.K Jalori, Unit Head, Dr. Hemant Singhal, Director, Medanta Breast Service and Dr. Narmada P Gupta, Chairman, Academic & Research, Urology, Medanta Institute of Kidney and Urology and key personnel from J.K. Cement’s Nimbahera Plant.

“Since inception under the guidance of Yadupati Singhania – MD & CEO, J.K. Cement Ltd, we have been driven by our core philosophy of contributing to society be in the field of education, health or any social cause that leads to a better quality of life for people,” said Mrs. Sonam Singhania.

Elaborating further, she said, “Health has taken a huge priority the world over. Today, we have launched this mega initiative, partnering with Medanta, the super specialty organization in India to host a Three Day Free Medical Camp starting today. The rationale of this initiative is to encourage and motivate people from neighboring areas and villages to come and get themselves checked for some basic and advanced medical tests to further enable and advise them to take respective treatments.”

“Scientifically conducted, these tests include physical examination in general, blood sugar and blood pressure check ups, ECG, Mammography, consultation of any kind if required. There are separate cabins for all departments where special attention has been given to proper hygiene and privacy. We hope to have over 1500 people attending the camp,” concluded Mrs. Singhania.

Dr. Hemant Singhal from Medanta remarked “We are proud to be associated with J.K. Cement Ltd. for this noble cause. Medanta with its team of doctors will be camping here for three days. We will provide all medical consultation and advice to people. We will also keep track of the patients for further prescription”.
