The Government of India has accorded emergency use approval to Johnson & Johnson's Single - Dose Vaccine in India.

Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya Tweeted on his official handle today afternoon that the US pharmaceutical company's single - dose COVID - 19 vaccine has become the fifth EUA vaccine to get approval. The US company has entered into a supply agreement with Indian vaccine maker Biological E Limited to bring the vaccine to India. The approval came within two days of J&J applying for Emergency Use Authorisation.
