Joint Public Conflict Forum's fight for Rights

All big names in the world of politicians like H.D.Deve Gowda- Ex Prime Minister, Prakash Karat- General Secretary of CPI (M), D.Raja-Secretary CPI(M) & Tara Singh Siddhu would be stepped in Udaipur today on 25th April 2011 from 11am.

 

All big names in the world of politicians like Prakash Karat – General Secretary of CPI (M), D.Raja-Secretary CPI(M) & Tara Singh Siddhu stepped in Udaipur today on 25th April 2011 from 11am. H.D.Devegowda-Ex Prime Minister, was expected to attend rally, but could not make for it for some personal reasons.

The reason of their arrival was participation in The Grand Tribal welfare rally at Commissioner’s office. All these big names participated from Joint Public Conflict Forum. Mob of around 10,000 people gathered and supported it.

Joint Public Conflict Forum's fight for RightsThis tribal welfare rally was organized to oppose the current government policies for tribal, which is not sufficiently effective & feasible. The rally began from Townhall and then crossed Surajpol, Ashwini Bazar, Delhigate, Hathipol, Chetak Circle and headed for Divisional Commissioner’s office.

Arjun Detha – organizer of procession said that the rally would be supporting the Forest Right Act and fundamental needs.

 

Main demands included:

  1. Work of 200 days under Employment guarantee scheme.
  2. To control expensiveness.
  3. Recognition and activation of forest right acts.
  4. The expansion of Panchayat Raaj.
  5. Enclosure of Wine Shoppes in tribal public area.
  6. Ban on the commercialization of education.
  7. Establishment of high court bench in Udaipur.
  8. Distribution of public funds should be devoid of Corruption.
  9. Minimum 8 hours of electricity should be provided to Farmers for agricultural purposes.
  10. Stoppage on privatization of Land.
  11. Remaining lease should be provided to all poor.
  12. Establishment of Agricultural centers at every Tehsil’s headquarters.
  13. Strict regulation and activation of PESA act.
  14. Return of agricultural insurance which was done in 2009’s dreadful famine .
