Justice Agarwal Sworn In as Rajasthan Chief Justice
Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde administers oath of office to Justice Sanjay Kumar Agarwal
Sept 7, 2026 - Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde on Monday, September 7, administered the oath of office to Justice Sanjay Kumar Agarwal as the Chief Justice (CJ) of the Rajasthan High Court at Lok Bhavan. Justice Agarwal took the oath in English.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas requested the Governor to administer the oath to CJ Agarwal. Prior to this, he read out the notification and warrant of appointment as CJ issued by President Droupadi Murmu.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Dr Prem Chand Bairwa, members of the Council of Ministers, elected representatives, judges of the Rajasthan High Court, senior officials, advocates and family members of CJ Agarwal.
