5 migrants and 1 Doctor among 11 COVID positive patients in Udaipur today

After a period of 35 days, a positive COVID19 case was identified in the hotspot of Udaipur Kanji ka Hata.  The last positive case in Kanji ka Hata was on 29 May.

A worker with the Udaipur Municipal Corporation (Nagar Nigam), residing at Kanji ka Hata tested positive today evening. A totalof 11 patients tested positive in Udaipur today, as per CMHO, Dr Dinesh Kharadi.

Earlier in the morning today, when 713 sample reports were received, there were 4 positives, of which two were close contacts of the COVID patient from Hiran Magri Sec 7. One patient was a migrant who is doing medicine in Kyrgysthan. He belongs to Kherwara. Another patient from Pahada in Kherwara tested positive.

19 sample reports were received in the afternoon, of which 4 were positive. One of the positive patients is a Doctor of the CHC in Jhadol. A migrant from Mumbai, who arrived in Salumber was also found to be positive. 2 persons who stay in Miraj Malhar, Sobhagpura have travelled from Mumbai and have tested positive.

The last report of 80 sample tests, of which 2 were positive, was received at 9:30pm today, which consists of a close contact of a COVID positive patient in Savina and a migrant from Jalore, who tested positive in GMCH, Udaipur.

This takes the total positive count to 754 for Udaipur.662 patients have recovered and 635 have been discharged. There are 87 active cases in Udaipur as of end of day on 3 July.
